Guatemala Finca Oná
Fine Robusta
A coffee with an aroma of cocoa and dried fruit, medium-high body and a sweet taste with floral notes. Perfect persistent and decisive aftertaste. Amazing!
Oná is one of the oldest plantations in this area, it was founded in the late 1800s by an American citizen and later expanded by his sons.
Finca’s main goal is to produce high quality coffee in environmentally and socially responsible ways. From the point of view of sustainability the plantation is powered by renewable hydroelectric energy to improve the life of the members of the cooperative. Also, inside the farm a kindergarten and a school were built to educate the children of the producers. In 2002, it was one of the first cooperatives to obtain the Rainforest Alliance certification, thanks to the numerous practices of saving environmental protection.
