Rwanda Specialty Coffee – freshly ground, in a jar
Arabica
250g coffee can
Rwanda Imigongo Kalibè is a specialty Arabica coffee from a plantation located in the northern part of the Gakenke district. Its cultivation is managed by a community of around 1200 farmers, mostly women, who carefully oversee every stage of the production process.
The plantation actively promotes fair and sustainable working conditions, providing essential resources and supporting the development of key infrastructure such as schools, housing, and roads, making a tangible contribution to the well-being of the community.
Situated on mountainous terrain with very steep slopes that prevent the use of machinery, the coffee is cultivated entirely by hand. The nutrient-rich soil gives the coffee a distinctive mineral complexity, while the unique climate and constant airflow protect the plants from disease and allow the cherries to ripen very slowly.
The result is a coffee with complex and highly enjoyable aromatic notes.
